Our endorsements are based on candidates that have a voting record that supports a fiscally sustainable Amherst and have shown they can collaborate with other members to build positive economic momentum for our town while retaining our values of strong schools, open space, diversity, a small-town feel, and not soaking the taxpayer.

School Committee: We are not offering an endorsement for this race since Andy is chair of the Amherst School Committee (and needs to work with whoever is elected). Clare is campaign manager for Irv Rhodes, one of the candidates, and Baer is a member of ACE, which was founded and recently directed by Steve Rivkin, one of the other candidates.
